Accessibility standard

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG provides recommendations for making web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Accessibility applies to pages on this website, including many documents and resources provided for families, students, staff, and community members.

Ongoing efforts

  • We regularly review pages and templates for accessibility and usability.
  • We work to ensure content is navigable by keyboard and compatible with common assistive technologies.
  • We aim to use clear headings, descriptive links, and accessible document formats whenever possible.
  • When new issues are identified, we prioritize fixes based on severity and impact.

Known issues

While we strive for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some content may not yet fully meet the standard. Examples can include:

  • Older PDF documents that may not be fully tagged for screen readers
  • Third-party content, embedded tools, or external links that are not fully under district control

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know. We will work with you to provide the information you need.
